About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Technician to support global service operations for advanced industrial equipment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and training responsibilities, and requires extensive international travel to customer sites.

Position Summary: As a Senior Field Technician, you will lead the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, controls, and software systems on industrial machinery. You will also support and train junior technicians, act as a proxy for the Service Manager when needed, and ensure exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel internationally up to 80%, Monday-Friday, for onsite service, installations, and technical support.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and software issues on industrial machinery.
  • Mentor and train junior Field Service Technicians in electrical, controls, and software systems.
  • Provide remote support to technicians and customers as needed.
  • Serve as Service Manager proxy when assigned-handling customer calls, scheduling, and team support.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service quality, documentation, and technical training.
  • Coordinate follow-ups, ensure service documentation is complete, and manage third-party interactions.
Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with Siemens PLCs, Vacon VFDs, HMIs, and remote access tools (e.g., eWon).
  • strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills; ability to read and interpret E-Plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AP+ or similar systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide junior staff and interface directly with customers.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
  • Must be physically fit and able to perform hands-on technical work in the field.
  • Valid passport and driver's license required; ability to travel internationally on short notice.


salary: $66,560 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities
