Senior Financial Accountant

Century Group's leading financial service in the Denver area is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. Your responsibilities will span various financial and regulatory aspects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $105,000 per year.
Job Descriptions:

• Update and maintain the quarterly deferred tax workbook and CECL workbook, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Assist with general accounting entries, including daily reconciliations, P&I reconciliations, and month-end close entries.
• Cross-train and serve as a backup for other members of the accounting team, supporting daily settlement and reconciliations.
• Document technical accounting and regulatory research, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
• Monitor liquidity and debt levels, ensuring compliance with debt covenants.

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer operating systems.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Quick grasp of complex concepts and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Background in public accounting and industry.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible and relevant experience.
