Your role will be key in managing trade spend liabilities through rebate tracking, deduction activity, and providing critical insights that empower your colleagues to make informed decisions, helping drive our business forward.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Trade Program Management: Manage trade programs and processes, including the setup and monitoring of trade accounts. Process, log, and code customer-submitted deductions to maintain accurate records.
- Collaboration: Partner with Business Development Managers to review trade spend, pricing variances, and related rebate adjustments, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee trade spend balances (accrued vs. paid) to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and support data integrity.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed management reporting on pricing and trade activity. Analyze and offer insights on volume and pricing discrepancies while managing approved spend.
- Scenario Modeling: Develop pricing scenarios and models to support margin management and potential pricing actions.
- Tool Development: Maintain and develop forms, dashboards, and trackers. Collaborate with the Sales team to enhance analytics capabilities and expand reporting through the integration of new digital tools.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- University degree in Business or Accounting.
- 3-5+ years of cross-functional business finance experience, with a strong understanding of CPG pricing and trade processes.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and concepts.
- Strong ability to translate and present financial information and concepts in a clear, simple, and effective manner.
