Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Reports To: Financial Analysis Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Salary Grade: 10

SUMMARY

The senior analyst will provide analysis of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting. This person will also create presentations to executive management, and support various teams with analytical support. This person will support the monthly forecast and annual budget processes, along with other special projects, such as expense efficiency initiatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance experience
  • Experience with advanced data management, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with various functions
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to understand concepts quickly and solve complex problems
  • Ability to work independently
  • Banking experience a plus
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is required
  • Experience with OneStream, SQL Server, Cognos, Tableau and Alteryx is preferred
  • Participate and complete all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.


JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Participate in the annual budget process, including communication of assumptions, timelines, training, system support and executive level reviews
  • Contribute to the earnings and capital forecast, coordinate with business partners and provide monthly updates to executive management
  • Present financial results to senior management in monthly Financial Performance Reviews
  • Create OC and Board level financial presentations
  • Monitor, analyze and report on monthly financial statements for multiple banks / business units
  • Partner with business units, and other internal resources, on report development and delivery, and provide training when necessary
  • Partner with the Chief Data Office and Financial Systems on data management and self-service reporting tools
  • Support other reporting and analytical needs of business units and management as needed
  • Assist as needed on projects/strategic initiatives that span multiple functions

This does not manage employees.

Corporate Office - Greenville, SC

POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

TRAVEL

This position may require occasional travel.
