WAGE RANGE: $87,000-$102,000/annually
JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities seeks a solution-orientated analytical individual who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to join us as a Senior Financial Analyst.
This individual is responsible for maintaining financial systems, interactions, and analysis to assure their ability to support the accounting and financial functions. Along with Director of FP&A, Controller, and CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst leads the finance management function and performs various finance and accounting functions as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for maintaining accounting and financial planning systems in a manner such that they can perform their required tasks. Includes general ledger, financial management, CMIS, other billing systems, and various databases. Performs in-depth financial analysis of agency performance, identifies key financial trends and potential risk, and prepares monthly board reporting packet. and identifies key financial trends and potential risks. Responsible for agency wide forecast, budget, and expense monitoring. Prepares financial analysis for Program areas, taking complex financial data and translating it into actionable insights for decision-making. Populates monthly variance reporting for distribution and provides support to Program Managers and Directors in completion of monthly reporting tasks. Prepares and analyzes, in cooperation with Director of Finance and other team members, monthly cash forecast, focusing on early identification of increased cash needs, debt covenants in jeopardy, and contingency planning for lost funding. Supports strategic decision-making through ad hoc analyses for agency initiatives to determine financial impact of proposed projects, program changes, and acquisitions. Completes various external financial reporting initiatives to ensure accurate and timely compliance with funding organizations' requirements. Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and client outcomes. Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of financial planning & analysis experience, including budgets, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Some exposure to non-profit is desirable.
- Advanced MS-Excel skills are required.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data and present in a clear and concise layman's terms.
- Strong skill and experience in various computerized finance and database applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities is required.
- Has the ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.
