Senior Financial Analyst

Your expertise will ensure the financial integrity of the organization and compliance with internal controls and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and validate individual and consolidated financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and reliability.
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations.
  Design, implement, and govern internal control processes.
• Prepare and manage the external audit.
  Prepare and manage requests for audits from tax authorities.
• Support the accounting team with complex accounting matters.
• Maintain general ledger master data and financial statement templates.
• Calculate and analyze quarterly ratios required by the bank.
• Contribute to special projects and specific mandates as needed.
• Perform any other related tasks to support financial excellence.

Key Success Factors:

• CPA designation with 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting firm.
• Knowledge of the full accounting cycle.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (Power Query, Power Pivot, etc.).
• Experience with ERP accounting systems; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Power BI is an asset.
• Strong experience in tax management, corporate taxes, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to build relationships and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Trusted advisor to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Exceptional ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and rigor.
• Proficiency in both French and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
