SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst will utilize their accounting/finance background to analyze financial information and prepare reports as needed and directed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Analyzes current and past financial data and performance.
  • Prepares ad hoc financial analyses and KPI reporting.
  • Prepares annual budgets and update monthly rolling forecasts of the income statement, balance, statement of cash flows and capital expenditures.
  • Creates and maintains various spreadsheets and dashboards for monthly financial and KPI reporting to private equity sponsors.
  • Identifies trends in financial performance and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepares reports and projections based on this analysis; assists in preparing presentations for senior leadership.
  • Coordinates with members of the management team to update financial information and forecasts.
  • Prepares proforma pricing and profitability analysis on new business opportunities.
  • Prepares weekly sales and pipeline reporting out of Salesforce.
  • Prepares monthly client implementation and attrition reporting out of various source systems.
  • Assists with the preparation of quarterly board reporting.
  • Assists with the financial due diligence and risk assessment process on potential acquisitions.
  • Participates in all pre-merger analysis and post-merger validation.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Mentors associates through instruction, coaching, providing real-time on-the-job experiences, modeling effective practices, and advising on methods used.
  • Contact as needed with clients regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.
  • Contact with members of team and internal teams regarding follow-up on inquiries, open workflow, etc.

May perform other duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

KNOWLEDGE
  • Internal controls.
  • US GAAP.
  • NetSuite ERP, NetSuite PBCS.
  • Salesforce.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
