WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Prepares various financial and/or accounting statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
- Assists in annual planning preparation and regularly monitor plan adherence, identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Tracks operational metrics and performs financial forecasting.
- Analyzes past results, performs variance analysis, identifies trends, and makes recommendations for cost savings and profitability improvements.
- Develops business partner relationships and demonstrates a working knowledge of the organizations and/or business units they support; aligns and builds partnerships across functional areas of financial performance and promotes corporate communication and direction.
- Assists FP&A Manager to develop financial models from which decisions can be made.
- Assists business leaders in deep dive review of operational areas.
- Prepares and presents clear and concise financial reports to senior management, offering insights into financial trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assists monthly close process to ensure accurate journal entries.
- Conducts special financial and business-related studies and collaborates with other departments in preparation of analyses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Demonstration of excellent analytical, logical, and forward-thinking competencies.
- Demonstration of strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong planning, organizational and execution skills.
- Operates with a quality mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrates the ability to work in an agile environment and embrace change; can successfully multitask and conflicting priorities.
- Excellent MS-Excel and PowerPoint.
