The firm is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance department. This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will work closely with department heads and other administrative managers to understand analytical needs and deliver high quality financial analysis.
This position is available as a hybrid work schedule.

The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:
San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $102,000 - $138,000 per year
Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $91,800 - $124,200 per year
Salt Lake City and all other locations: $81,600 - $110,400 per year
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.

The firm is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance department. This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will work closely with department heads and other administrative managers to understand analytical needs and deliver high quality financial analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Generate and present data analysis for various meetings held throughout the year for the Board of Directors, Members, and Department Heads. Focus of these presentations vary and each requires thoughtful analysis of the topics of concern
- Develop Power BI / Power App based profitability dashboards and financial reports and manage functionality once they are in production
- Strategic ad-hoc analysis at the timekeeper, matter, and client levels for various Department Heads, Chiefs, and Senior Managers to highlight financial strengths and weaknesses
- Prepare annual and quarterly industry surveys which track financial performance
- Ownership of annual budget process for various departments. This includes variance tracking and communicating deviations or outliers to departments heads
- Proactively recommend and manage the implementation of process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting, planning processes, and systems
- Perform related duties as assigned or directed by supervisor from time to time
- Maintain compliance with all firm policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial planning, analysis, or pricing
- Experience working in a law firm required
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point
- Excellent proficiency in Power BI and Power Apps
- Solid technical, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to present and communicate financial information in a meaningful and understandable way
- Strong desire to learn and ask questions
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
