Senior Financial Analyst

Scope of Position:

The Senior Financial Analyst t will provide operational support to the Credit Derivatives trading business, specifically covering Single Name, Index (CDX, CDX EM, iTraxx, MCDX), and Swaptions. The analyst will manage end-to-end trade lifecycle events, ensuring processes are executed with accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to risk controls. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Support trade economic reconciliation, internal and external trade compression, and clearing and settlement for both broker-dealer and client transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate trade reporting
• Manage lifecycle events including Credit Events, Succession Events, Option Exercises, Unwinds, Step-Ins, and Novations
• Execute and enhance operational controls and procedures
• Maintain close communication with stakeholders such as trading, sales, novations, confirmations, settlements, and technology teams
• Proactively escalate potential risk issues to supervisors or managers
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy in all operational functions and support processes
• Continuously assess and mitigate operational risk through strict adherence to key controls

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Fixed Income Operations, preferably within a Credit Derivatives environment
• Strong understanding of operational workflows and trade lifecycle management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across global teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Strong sense of accountability and risk awareness
