Description:

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Sr. Financial Business Analyst assists the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) of Artisant Lane Furniture Collective (ALFC) in strategic initiatives as directed by the ELT.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide insightful and actionable financial analysis and reporting, including key trends, metrics, and business drivers to inform business performance.
Support management by developing, measuring, and presenting KPIs to stakeholders across the organization.
Create statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or other analytical methods to analyze data and develop practical solutions to business problems.
Support business lines with in-depth analysis of costs, KPIs, and initiatives
Provide research and analytical support for enterprise level strategy and initiatives.
Prepare financial statements.
Maintain GL account mapping for financial statements.
Work in collaboration with IT on ongoing projects focused on financial data validation.
Assist in PowerBI Paginated Report and Dashboard creation.
Assist the accounting department in streamlining processes and creating dashboards in financial reporting
Continually work on improving efficiency by streamlining reporting to changing business needs.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Able to perform with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
A great ability to build excel models and data dashboards.
Self-Starter and able to work independently
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and can demonstrate a sense of urgency and assures consistent achievement of quality standards.
Strong time management skills. Able to prioritize tasks and projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience with ERP systems. Experience with Oracle a plus.
Experience with PowerBI Report Builder and Desktop a plus

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
4 years of finance, including at least 2 years of financial analysis and reporting experience
Proven track record of high performance and upward mobility within an organization
Experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation
