Description:

This position support the financial reporting and management needs of the Company and all of its subsidiaries. You will assist in the financial reporting functions of the Company to include: preparation of monthly and quarterly financials, consolidation of subsidiaries, monthly account reconciliation and analysis, and preparation for and coordination of annual audit. Lastly, this position will communicate financial information to Company Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the preparation of the Company's consolidated financial statements including:
  • Assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual external financial statements in compliance with US GAAP requirements.
  • Assists with monthly and quarterly internal reporting, including the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements.
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of the Company's consolidated financial statements.
  • Maintain schedules and supporting documentation for consolidations and financial statements.
  • Prepare the foreign currency translation and US GAAP conversion of foreign subsidiaries.
  • Prepare analyses of key financial metrics and financial variances.
  • Maintains technical expertise and knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Researches accounting guidance to determine appropriate reporting requirements.
  • Performs monthly inter-company reconciliation, profit elimination and consolidation.
  • Prepares quarterly debt compliance calculations and documentation.
  • Assists with the year-end audit including direct interaction with the independent auditors.
  • Support additional Corporate Accounting initiatives including:
  • Continuous evaluation and improvement of internal controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to outside departments.
  • Assists with the preparation and filing of government census reports.
  • Assist with due diligence, integration, and other projects related to planned acquisitions, expansions or other special projects.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


Minimum Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related field.
  • CPA is required.
  • 5 years of consolidation and financial reporting experience, preferably in a multinational environment. Relevant experience with Big 4 public accounting firm preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in performing financial analysis to include: g/l account reconciliation and analysis, forecast and trend analysis, budget to actual analysis.
  • Experience with SAP/BPC will be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient use of a computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and other related applications or software.
  • Demonstrates strong independent thinking by proactively identifying solutions, taking initiative in decision-making, and effectively managing tasks without constant supervision. The ability to analyze complex situations, think critically, and make well-informed decisions is essential for success in this role.
  • Proficient experience in researching and applying accounting principles and concepts.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
  • Typical work in an office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up and carry 15 pounds at times.
