Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Senior to assist with the financial reporting process within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of internal and external financial statements in adherence to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. The candidate will ensure the timely completion of our processes, coordinate with internal departments and external auditors, and maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

What You'll Do
- Assist in the preparation and review of internal and external financial statements following US GAAP and SEC guidelines.
- Ensure the timely completion of quarterly and year-end closing processes, meeting all financial reporting deadlines.
- Assist with internal and external auditor requests.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to collect, analyze, and report information necessary for internal and external financial reports.
- Prepare schedules and perform analytics required for reporting and management review.
- Maintain and organize financial databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of financial information.
- Uphold compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations.
- Assist management with ad-hoc procedures and special projects as needed.
- Assist in the consolidation process by ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany balances.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and ensure we maintain complete records of these transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting
- Understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1668 S. Garfield Ave. 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91801.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $95,000 - $110,000. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
