Summary:
The Senior FP&A Analyst, Brand & Division Finance, serves as a key partner to the Marketing, CPPA (Consumer, Patient & Professional Activations) teams and the FP&A Manager. This role focuses on developing Brand finance activities for our skin care and hair care brands, including Brand P&L management and A&P management (50%) and supports the FP&A Manager in executing the broader FP&A responsibilities for the dermo-cosmetics division (50%).
As the liaison between Marketing, CPPA teams and Finance, this position plays a key role in planning, analyzing, and optimizing A&P spend, brand plans, pricing and portfolio management. Your actions and insights will ensure alignment with strategic goals and adherence to corporate policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong P&L knowledge and financial planning expertise, with a demonstrated ability to successfully connect teams around new projects and deliver results in the Beauty or CPG sectors.

Essential Functions:
- Brand Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Partner with the FP&A Manager on Brand P&L management.
- Lead monthly closing tasks, reporting, and analysis related to A&P, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group policies.
- Improve, maintain, and lead A&P financial monitoring activities in collaboration with Marketing & CPPA teams, including re-engineering of existing processes.
- Develop, implement, and lead A&P financial planning activities in collaboration with Marketing and CPPA teams, including budgeting, trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to A&P management.
- Provide analytical and financial modeling support to Marketing & CPPA teams for brand plans and strategic initiatives (pricing, portfolio, promotions, ROI, etc.).
- Contribute to the preparation and validation of Brand P&Ls, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Division Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Support the FP&A Manager in Division P&L management.
- Support division-wide budgeting and monthly forecasts.
- Monitor actuals against plans and assist in scenario modeling (Budget, Forecasts, Adhoc).
- Collaborate with the Finance Team on month-end and year-end financial closing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Deliver against ad hoc requests and projects from several cross-functional business partners, including Leadership team.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to be recognized as a valued partner.
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Own financial reporting analysis and reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Assist in the approval of spend requests (Purchase Orders).
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies.
- Continuously enhance reporting processes for improved speed, accuracy, and insights.
Required Education, Experience and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, preferably in a Brand Finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to build and adapt financial models.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and improve processes.
- High proficiency in Excel and financial systems is essential.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with business acumen.
- Solid oral and written communication abilities.
- Highly motivated, self-starter profile, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in the Beauty or CPG industry with strong brands is preferred.
