Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our team in this high growth and dynamic environment. This role is critical to support our rapid growth, M&A pipeline and financial returns.
The initial focus will be working with the leadership team on designing management reporting. The company has well-developed systems and data. The analyst needs to work with the business to deeply understand our operations and have the conceptual strength to turn our data into insightful business reporting. Another focus area will be working with operations on optimizing inventory. Addressing tank allocations, purchasing process / rules and reporting to reduce current inventories and create a system to maintain optimum inventory levels.
The analyst will work to foster strong business partnerships and influence across the organization and work directly with the CFO and leadership team. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work both remotely and on-site, reporting directly to the CFO.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Expertise in financial modeling, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain business partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting Design & Management
- Build a deep understanding of our business strategy and drivers with business leaders.
- Document data sources, reliability, availability and needs to design best in class business reporting integrating financial and non-financial measures.
- Work with the Business Intelligence Manager to deliver reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial and inventory reports to key stakeholders.
- Continuously improve reporting design, processes and tools for efficiency and clarity.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Assist in budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis related to key business results, drivers and cash availability to support M&A.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance and inventory metrics.
- Monitor portfolio performance, develop insight and recommend improvements and actions.
- Work with marketing to deliver optimal spend levels and mechanisms.
- Monitor marketing spend and returns.
- Business Partnership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment on strategies and priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders, providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Act as a liaison between finance and other departments to improve decision-making processes.
- Inventory Management & Analysis
- Build a detailed analysis of inventory levels, trends and drivers to develop ongoing processes that optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor and manage purchases and inventory to align with company objectives, ensuring supply while minimizing excess.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial planning, inventory analysis, or related roles
- Background in data intensive industry: Retail, banking, PE support an advantage
- Proven experience with inventory management tools and financial analysis platforms.
