  • Working with DRAM Product architect in defining assumed Top Level safety requirements for SEooC (Safety Element out of Context) products
  • Estimate FIT for the entire DRAM chip according to relevant reliability standards
  • Calculate the distribution of FIT to each block of the device with a weighted methodology (Area or transistors count)
  • Enumerate possible failure mode of each block and allocate FIT for each of these
  • Resolve effects of Failure to the top-level safety goals of the DRAM
  • Verify that the architecture solutions defined in the concept phase are sufficient to detect the effect or the root cause of the failure mode, where gaps exist driving solutions in an iterative way
  • Participate to the internal analysis of the dependencies (i.e common cause's failure, cascading failures) with the so-called Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA) identifying impacts to the safety concept and driving solutions
  • Participate to formal internal reviews of the technical content of multiple safety artifacts
