• The Senior GCP Data Architect will specialize in assessment activities and will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing the architecture of migration environments.
• The goal is to ensure these environments meet best practices for security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough reviews of tools and data systems to provide recommendations and a plan for migration towards cloud infrastructure. This includes network configurations, storage solutions, and compute resources.
• Compliance and Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Optimization and Design: Provide recommendations for optimization, help design robust systems, and guide the implementation of best practices to enhance the overall performance and security of the GCP environment.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience in managing large-scale data migration projects.
• They will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and security of Cisco's GCP environment.

Required Skills : For the role of a Senior GCP Data Architect, the following qualifications are typically required: - Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred. - Experience: Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role in data management. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential. - Experience in managing large-scale data migration projects would be advantageous. - Certifications: Certifications like Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect can be beneficial. Skills: - Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining. - Excellent understanding of cloud computing and cloud architecture. - Familiarity with data visualization tools. - Proficiency in SQL and other data languages. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team are often required.
