Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical field explorations and oversee laboratory testing.
- Analyze and interpret field and laboratory data to provide sound geotechnical recommendations.
- Prepare and review detailed geotechnical reports for commercial, industrial, retail, government, and residential projects.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout project lifecycles, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Manage geotechnical projects, including proposal development, project execution, and report delivery.
- Coordinate field activities with drill crews, including scheduling and sampling logistics.
- Conduct field work as necessary to ensure accurate data collection and quality control.
- Utilize engineering software (e.g., gINT, DARWin, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel) for analysis and reporting.
Preferred Experience
- Education: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (required); Master's in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Kentucky (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-standard geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Additional: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
