SUMMARY: Responsible for key HR functions including compensation/benefits,

talent development/performance management, talent acquisition and HR operations/compliance. Foster a positive work environment in line with company values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The incumbent may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential functions as determined by business necessity.

  • Effectively partner with senior staff to ensure the effective utilization of people programs, aligning with business objectives and organizational culture.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in support of the business.
  • Advise, coach and provide management with counsel regarding all HR issues such as the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues, talent reviews/development and succession planning.
  • Ensure legal compliance and maintain a thorough knowledge in the areas of EEO, Fair Labor Standards, Wage and Hour, FMLA, Health and Safety and other Federal and State regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain a positive employee experience by overseeing employee engagement, satisfaction and development.
  • Manage benefit annual open enrollment process and actively participate in US benefits review/sourcing process.
  • Maintain compensation standards by conducting periodic pay surveys and recommend, plan and implement pay structure revisions.
  • Ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee job performance.
  • Plan and control expenditures for the HR department.
  • Coordinate and implement effective communication with employees regarding overall HR policies/programs.
  • Working with payroll provider, ensure weekly payroll is entered correctly and reviewed to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in 401k fiduciary committee; managing audit and 5500 filing process.
  • Actively supervise, manage and collaborate with HR staff to ensure department success.


  • NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may be required to perform other non-essential functions. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties as requested by their supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. MBA or Masters in HR management is preferred. PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years hands on HR experience, 3 years as a manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law, regulations and HR practices.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing successful HR programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and HRIS systems. Oracle and ADP experience preferred.
