Position Summary

As a Senior Information Security Professional, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's information systems and data. This senior-level role is perfect for individuals passionate about cybersecurity and possessing a solid understanding of fundamental security principles. You'll begin by focusing on security operations, monitoring systems, detecting threats, and responding to incidents. However, your primary focus will be in leading departmental and enterprise-wide projects. You will become subject matter expert (SME) on critical Information Security controls, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Qualifications/Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in administrating, supporting, and maintaining enterprise platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology and security, computeror a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications (recommended but not required):
    • CompTIA Security+,
    • CompTIA Security+,
    • ISC2 CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional),
    • ISC2 CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional),
    • ISACA CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • Educational background in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with common security tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices and services.
  • Intermediate skills in managing and maintaining enterprise-level operating systems and hardware.
  • Intermediation understanding of Server, Desktop, and Application virtualization concepts and technologies.
  • Intermediate of cloud architecture, security, and best practices for leveraging and integrating cloud technologies.
  • Intermediate knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • Intermediate skills creating batch and PowerShell scripts for system maintenance tasks.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SDLC processes and best practices for managing software releases.
  • Advanced oral and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Able to perform advanced tasks such as automating processes with macros, creating detailed reports, and designing high-impact presentations.
  • Ability to apply complex logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and deal with multiple variables.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical functions such as discount, interest, profit and loss, commission markup and selling price, ratio and proportion, and percentage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High degree of adaptability.
  • Solid organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Salary Range

  • Minimum - $76,438
  • Maximum - $122,302
