Bring your passion and experience to HGA and collaborate with our industry thought leaders in design, sustainability and architectural innovation! We are looking for an individual experienced in actively working on interior design projects and directing project teams.

This position requires outstanding communication skills as there will be significant contact with the client, contractors, consultants, city agencies and the in-house team. The candidate must have excellent programming skills and able to manage a project from conceptual design through construction. Responsibilities will vary based on project type but will include leading programming, planning and interior design efforts on multiple projects. This person must also have a good understanding of building accessibility codes, exiting and life/safety requirements in various building types.

In this role you will:

  • Work to create design solutions with enduring impact though original insight.
  • In this position you will collaborate with and be an integral part of the Architectural and Interior Design team to program and develop the interior design solutions for projects ranging from workplace, higher education, community and commercial buildings.
  • Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
  • Collaborate and communicates effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Work within project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from initial design phase through final project completion.


  • You will need to have:

    • Four-year degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program
    • 8+ years of professional experience including prior Project Management experience.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills
    • NCIDQ or CID accreditation
    • Leadership and project management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients
    • Ability to oversee and be responsible for project delivery
    • Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp and other industry accepted software as well as expertise with Microsoft Office products.


    Salary Information:

    $86,500 - $115,900 DOE
