Niterra North America is seeking a highly motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team for this hybrid position. In this role, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's assets, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Audit Planning: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and prioritize audit areas.
- Internal Control Reviews: Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, including SOX compliance.
- Audit Execution: Perform in-depth audits, including testing of controls, data analysis, and interviewing key personnel.
- Issue Identification and Reporting: Identify and communicate control deficiencies, assess their impact, and recommend corrective actions.
- Process Improvement: Provide recommendations to enhance processes and reduce operational risks.
- Special Projects: Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA, CIA, or CISA certification preferred
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (
