Description:
The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is seeking a responsible, highly motivated Senior Investigator for Investigative Services. Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, managing and reporting on high-level internal investigations or reviews emanating from within the Ministry.
This position requires: leadership and management expertise; comprehensive knowledge of principles, methodologies and practices associated to investigating administrative matters; significant judgment and expertise in determining impropriety or misconduct; knowledge of correctional and court systems; knowledge about judicial process and authorization, evidence gathering and forensic analysis techniques, experience in using major case management practices and writing investigation or observation type reports; and an ability to work on high profile security related matters that often deal with extremely confidential and sensitive issues.
The successful candidate will typically have gained the required knowledge through the completion of an applicable degree/diploma and will have experience applying the required knowledge within the Justice system.
Please note: This position will be headquartered in one of the following locations - Regina, Saskatoon or Prince Albert.
