The Investment Risk Team is currently seeking a Senior Investment Risk Analyst to work in our New York or Baltimore office. The Investment Risk team is a data-driven group that uses analytical methods to assess investment risks across the firm, including client assets and firm strategies. In addition, the team works collaboratively with equity and fixed income investment teams during the investment process to assess investment risk through a variety of risk analytics. The team is seeking a Senior Analyst who will support various aspects of day-to-day, adhoc analysis, strategic projects, and enhance analytic methods. This position is an exciting new role on a growing team within a global independent investment management and strategic advisory firm.

Qualifications:
Baltimore, MD Salary: $130-135k Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
New York, NY Salary: $156-162k Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).

The primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support implementation of strategic roadmap initiatives, which include tech identification, reporting enhancements, and data integrations
- Conduct quantitative analysis to identify key investment risks
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting on firmwide assets
- Analyze and process large data sets to identify trends and significant changes in investment risks
- Support investment risk identification, practices, and governance
- Understand current market conditions and assess assets for changes in investment risks
- Prepare materials and presentations for firm leadership and Investment Risk team
- Develop automated and scalable solutions to assess risk
- Participate, lead, and innovate team initiatives to identify and monitor investment risks
- Collaborate with other members of the team and the broader firm to execute investment risk initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Work toward advanced education, MBA, CFA, or other relevant designation preferred
- Experience in assessing investment risk desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in programming languages (VBA, R, Python, etc.)
- Strong experience in visualization software, like Tableau
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and products, including Alternatives preferred
- Strong analytical skills, including market data analytics
- Experience with financial modeling
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Must excel at working independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Possess a high level of personal integrity
- Ability to work in an office location
