We're looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT team! This is a great opportunity to help build a modern, scalable, and coordinated IT environment which is at an early stage.

The ideal candidate is technically experienced, adept with core IT systems, and passionate about continuous improvement and driving efficiency through automation, AI, and thoughtful integration. You'll play a key role in crafting and implementing a robust SaaS application architecture while supporting endpoint management, security, and IT operations.

We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to around half your time on-site in our San Francisco office.
What You'll Do:
  • Act as a domain expert and optimize our core enterprise cloud applications such as messaging, storage, identity management & governance, and collaboration tools
  • Work cross functionally to automate business processes and IT workflows to improve operational efficiency by implementing scalable integrations across our application stack using APIs and iPaaS tools
  • Partner with IT leadership and security teams to secure endpoints using NIST (or similar) frameworks, perform regular user access audits to maintain compliance- while keeping user experience top of mind
  • Implement data privacy standard processes in collaboration with legal and security teams
  • Evaluate and recommend tools for data loss prevention and disaster recovery
  • Lead and automate patching for company laptops to ensure ongoing vulnerability management
  • Provide Tier 2 support for IT incidents and mentor junior team members
  • Build and maintain clear documentation, including architecture diagrams and business process flows
  • Partner with your manager to define the technical vision for a team and implement that vision
What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ years hands-on experience implementing, managing, and customizing corporate applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce.
  • Proficient with infrastructure management tools such as Okta, JAMF, Kandji, Valimail
  • 3+ years working with integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Boomi, Zapier or similar tools)
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and industry-standard integration practices
  • Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Proficiency with Google Apps scripts, Python, JAVA, PHP or other scripting languages to automate IT tasks
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to translate complex systems into clear visual artifacts
  • A proactive, self-starter demeanor and a love for learning new tools and technologies
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience in implementing AI tools including but not limited to Gemini, ChatGPT
  • Experience in scaling a startup in a hyper-growth environment
Compensation Overview:

At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate's starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future. Compensation: $126,000 - $134,000. The base salary posted is within the compensation range for this role. This range reflects base pay only and does not include equity or benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
