Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager with at least 10 years of expertise in leading teams and managing the implementation of SAP & Oracle ERP solutions. In this critical role, you will oversee a team of functional business system analysts and drive key initiatives related to ERP deployment, system integrations, systems upgrades and ongoing improvements. You will play a key role in project management, change management, and ensuring that ERP solutions are aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing diverse teams across multiple time zones, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful project outcomes using Agile methodologies and ITIL frameworks. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of functional business system analysts, ensuring optimal performance and development. Build and foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and communication in an international or multi-location environment.
  • ERP Implementation & Support: Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of SAP / Oracle ERP with a heavy focus on Sale, Service & Distribution, from planning and design to deployment and support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, configure solutions, and ensure successful ERP system adoption.
  • Project Deployment & Capacity Planning: Drive project deployment by overseeing capacity planning, resource allocation, and ensuring project milestones and timelines are met. Manage project risks and deliverables within budget constraints and timelines.
  • Functional Specifications: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, developing clear and comprehensive functional specifications. Ensure that solutions are properly aligned with business processes and objectives.
  • Change Management: Lead and implement effective change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during ERP system implementations, upgrades, or process changes. Foster user adoption through training, support, and communication.
  • Agile Methodology: Utilize Agile principles to manage and guide the project team throughout the project lifecycle ((Scrum/Kanban). Ensure continuous delivery and iterative progress with a focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality results.
  • ITIL Framework Knowledge: Apply ITIL best practices to ensure efficient IT service management, incident management, change control, and service delivery. Proactively work to identify areas for improvement within IT processes and systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment across projects and initiatives. Drive communication and collaboration across functional areas to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Time Zone Flexibility: Provide flexible working hours to ensure global project coverage, coordinating with teams and stakeholders in multiple time zones to ensure continuous project progress.


What we are looking for:
  • Advanced Degree: A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Functional Area of Expertise: Order to Cash, Service management, integration with CRM, eCommerce applications
  • Certifications: SAP/Oracle technical certifications. ITIL certification, or related certifications in project management or IT service management.
  • Communication: Excellent consultative, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Teamwork: Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. Skilled at delivering results in a cross-functional matrix team environment.
  • Problem Solver: Superb problem-solving skills; logical and analytical thinker with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Adaptable: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to ensure successful implementations of the Business Systems at various MKS facilities as needed (5-20% travel)

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Pay Range: $150,000-190,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
