Position: Security Lead, Continuous Improvement

Unit: Digital Workplace Solutions (ITSDS)

Our team delivers productivity and collaboration solutions to over 30,000 users, including M365, Power Platform, and AI-driven tools like Copilot. We are a fun, friendly team dedicated to solving problems with impactful technology.

Role Overview

As our Platform Security Lead, you will enhance security across critical systems, collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement secure solutions for a global, mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities
Lead security reviews and threat modeling throughout solution lifecycles
Drive continuous security improvements for critical applications and platforms
Design and implement secure architectures for Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, Purview, Priva)
Develop and manage security awareness programs and incident response plans
Establish metrics to monitor and improve security performance

Selection Criteria
Master's degree in IT/Computer Science with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 security architecture and Power Platform
Strong background in Azure/cloud security, modern authentication, and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Experience in solution architecture and secure software development
Program management skills with proven stakeholder engagement

Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft security tools (M365 Defender, Purview, DLP, Conditional Access)
Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and classification
Strong risk assessment and threat modeling abilities

Personal Qualities
Analytical and creative problem-solver
Strong communicator with effective collaboration skills
Leadership ability to influence security practices across teams
Client-focused and committed to continuous learning
