Senior Logistics Specialist

We have immediate openings for Senior Logistics Specialist with a concentration on Small Boats to join our team. This position is in San Diego, CA. Security Clearance:

• Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

• The Contractor shall provide logistics, maintenance, and mission coordination of small, unmanned surface vessels (sUSVs). The contractor will assist with the transfer of custody, transportation, sustainment planning, and coordination of operations and supply chain activities. The position requires familiarity with Navy logistics, maintenance, acquisition processes, and operational planning of small maritime vessels.
  • The contractor shall work under the direction of a government civilian supervisor and collaborate with a mix of government and contractor personnel.

Experience Requirements:
15 years Navy Waterfront Logistics, Government technical management, or Industry business management.
Navy Policies and Procedures: experience communicating with Senior government and Industry personnel.
DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes; Supervisory experience; ship building experience desired.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Management or 15 years of relevant experience.
