Performs highly responsible professional staff duties involving the planning, study, development, management and implementation of projects for the improvement of various County, agency, or section operations; does related work as required.
Essential Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a bachelor's degree in public administration or a field directly related to the position and program/agency to which assigned, plus three (3) years of responsible directly related work experience (preferably including some supervisory experience); OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Additional Information
The Residential Drainage Project Coordinator assists the Design Division with the intake and response to residential drainage concerns from County residents. The Coordinator provides support to the Senior Engineer with the execution of the County's drainage prioritization plan; does related work as required.
A criminal history record check and fingerprinting is conducted on all persons conditionally offered employment, including a conditional offer of initial employment, or a conditional offer to promote, demote, or laterally transfer an employee.

Essential Duties
- Intakes and manages residential drainage concerns from both residents and County leadership
- Provides drainage guidance to residents on private property
- Proficiency using technology to communicate and make processes more efficient. Knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, and other Microsoft products preferred
- Functional knowledge of GIS software preferred
- Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform research
- Skilled in organizing technical material in good report form
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to render timely, competent and technical decisions
- Manages small to medium-scope drainage projects
