Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Summary of Duties: The Sr. Manager Access Provisioning defines, plans, coordinates, and communicates how their assigned access teams will assist in achieving the overall goals and objectives of the Access Provisioning team, Identity & Access department, integrated lines of business (ILOB) and enterprise operations. The Sr. Manager Access Provisioning also reviews best practices, standards, and workflows to ensure consistency and standard operations. The Sr. Manager Access Provisioning identifies and understands prevalent user access issues based on trend analysis and root cause analysis, and participates in efforts to improve operational excellence.

    As with Access Managers, this includes after-hours and weekend support responsibility as needed.

    Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

    Services
  • Create and support consistency and standardization of access provisioning across the enterprise
  • Utilizing data, champion efficient and effective access processes, procedures and tools across the enterprise
  • Develop and execute action plans to centralize access provisioning, implement organizational alignment changes, and ensure access management structures are optimized across the enterprise.
  • Develop and direct process improvement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, increase operational efficiency, reduce ongoing manually provisioned access volumes, increased automation, improve Access Coordinator workflows efficiency, and centralize access provisioning processes and/or teams.
  • Actively coordinates with HCA India colleagues in order to improve enterprise operational support.
  • Coordinates provisioning of applications and information systems requested via enterprise access governance system (eSAF & Access Central)
  • Participates in setting and achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Develops a complete understanding of user access need s Coordinates efforts to develop processes and disciplines and supports sharing of best practices
  • Communicates user access processes, guidelines, and standards
  • Leverages and applies department best practices, standards, and workflows created in conjunction with other access managers to ensure consistency and standard user access processes across all ITG division service

Collaboration

  • Partners with internal & international resources to support 24x7 access management operations and the high/critical ticket escalation process
  • Develops and leverages internal partnerships to maximize the achievement of HCA business goals and strategies to ITG and company executive management, business line(s), IPS, and other functional areas as required.
  • Provides Business leadership with education and guidance on access management policies and procedures and enterprise tools
  • Partners with Human Resources leadership to define and monitor process flows
  • Meets with corporate, division and facility-level leadership teams, as needed, relating to new user access initiatives or issues

Strategy

  • Coordinates improvement efforts; follows-up and follows through to ensure that operating changes result in expected improvements; reports on results of implemented improvements
  • Designs and develops, or coordinates development of, analytical tools (Dashboards, Scorecards, etc.) that identify continuous improvement opportunities and process optimization.

Management

  • Achieving all duties and responsibilities related to department, ITG, and company goals and objectives as identified and authorized by the Vice President (VP), Assistant Vice President (AVP), and Sr. Director.
  • Develop and manage annual budget for assigned groups and monitor throughout the year to stay within budget.
  • Creates an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based solutions, cross-training, to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and service excellence
  • Develops benchmark measures for team performance improvement
  • Provide management level support for situations involving critical service impact
  • Establish and maintain leader and staff training development programs that align with ITG.
  • Participates in recruiting efforts, as needed
  • Participates in vision-setting and direction of user access team
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with division and facility leaders, ITG leaders, vendors, and staff
  • Encourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, process improvement to ensure collaboration
  • Participates in personnel management activities, including performance management and career development activities
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statements
  • Assists with other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience communicating across departmental boundaries to ensure collaboration, efficiency and service excellence (i.e. interdepartmental communication)
  • Demonstrated people management skills
  • Experience conferring with diverse technical and functional groups at all levels of the enterprise to develop solutions and address issues
  • Strong understanding of Service Desk, user access and customer service principles
  • A clear understanding of computer systems and corresponding support requirements
  • Strong personal drive and ability to see projects through to execution in a matrixed environment
  • Advanced reasoning, math, and language skills
  • Competency in MS Office Suite, budgeting tools, call center tracking tools, ad hoc reporting tools, resource management tools


What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Continuing education in area of specialization; appropriate certifications based on area of specialization

Experience: Required:

  • Five or more years of experience combined operational experience in information technology or healthcare, or healthcare applications or user access support
  • Experience with direct customer interaction, operations management, and personnel management desired
  • Experience conferring with technical and functional experts at all levels of the enterprise in a problem-solving environment
  • Experience in large, complex organization or corporate structured environment
  • Demonstrated experience creating and leading communications with direct reports, senior leaders, business partners, vendors to ensure collaboration, efficiency, and service excellence
  • Ability to work in stressful situations
  • Competency in basic PC use and required tools
