As a Sr. Manager of the Diffusion, CVD, PVD area for the Advanced Technology Engineering team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will build and develop a best-in-class team to drive new product introduction and ramp at our newest memory fab. This brand-new site in Boise, ID will co-locate technology development and manufacturing to seamlessly transfer groundbreaking products directly from R/D into manufacturing.
Your team will engage on Micron's groundbreaking products from early in the development stage and support them all the way through customer qualification. Your objective is to use global internal and external resources to enable equipment and yield performance to plan.
This key role will require collaborating with Technology Development, Procurement and Facilities teams, as well as interaction with equipment and materials suppliers. You must support effective teamwork across all geographies and departments and some international travel may be required.

In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- All required safety training and ensuring work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies while promoting a positive work environment.
- Hire, develop, mentor, and lead a team of highly capable process engineers.
- Build a values-based culture of innovation and tenacity
- Support the qualification of a new innovative processing facility
- Provide regular feedback to your team members on performance, and career development
- Engage with suppliers to develop the process and equipment needed to meet Micron's technology roadmap.
- Partner with Technology Development for effective transfer and ramp product yield and quality.
- Engage with other Manufacturing and lead worldwide alignment efforts.
- This position requires communications and collaboration with partners both locally and globally. Strict consistency to Micron Intellectual Property protection policy is a must.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Senior level (10+ years) semiconductor proven experience in DRAM is helpful including TD, HVM, or operations-based teams. Other memory technology or logic/foundry experience will be considered.
- Possess a deep understanding of Diffusion, CVD, PVD, Process Engineering and process transfer capability.
- Proven experience leading all aspects of a process engineering team in a HVM facility (5+ years)
- Experience handling suppliers and establishing supplier accountability programs
- Solid understanding of manufacturing team structures, standards, and processes
- Must be able to instill a department culture within each team member in-line with the company core values.
- Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
