Summary
Responsible for business partnering and financial reporting of regional finance performance. This role will oversee the Finance team for the U.S. Sales and Operations business units and will report to Americas CFO with a strong dotted line to the U.S. Hoist and Crane General Manager. This role will be responsible for developing annual financial plans and reporting monthly financial results for the U.S. business. This individual will demonstrate the ability to work cross functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Legal, and Accounting and be a key business partner to driving the growth of the U.S. business.

This role will be responsible for developing annual financial plans and reporting monthly financial results for the U.S. business. This individual will demonstrate the ability to work cross functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Legal, and Accounting and be a key business partner to driving the growth of the U.S. business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Reviews monthly budgets for the business to ensure compliance with the regional plan; works cross functionally with department heads regarding the budget performance on a monthly basis.
- Review sales programs and sales terms for the U.S. customers which include payment terms, sales allowances and discounts, rebate programs, and freight terms on shipments, etc.
- Assists in development of margin enhancement through focus on higher margin products and potential pricing adjustments.
- Works with the Sales & Manufacturing Planning team.
- Reviews inventory levels and effectively manages KPIs.
- Works closely with Corporate Finance and Accounting on closing of monthly regional accounts; leads discussion of monthly financial report and commentary regarding financial results.
- Reviews and reports on headcount and labor.
- Prepares monthly financial reports, presentations, and analyses to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA, MBA, or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of related manufacturing accounting and finance experience required with several years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working in cross functional teams - in close partnership with Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance.
- Excellent at conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven skills in leading and motivating finance teams for collaboration and results.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Strong organization/analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Communication/presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing)
