Position Summary:
DISA Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the strategic HRBP partnership within various corporate departments. This role provides support for senior business leaders and manages a team of HR business partners located across the U.S. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing expert guidance on HR matters while ensuring alignment with company goals and business results. This role will also serve as a liaison across broader HR initiatives while continuing to support a high-performance culture and overall organizational agility.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities:
- Responsible for key aspects of the HR function including employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and the implementation of HR programs & initiatives for assigned departments.
- Mentor and develop a team of HR professionals by providing guidance, support, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the HR function and assigned corporate functions; contribute to budgeting and resource planning.
- Maintain deep and current subject matter expertise in federal and state employment laws; leadership on complex and evolving HR and compliance issues.
- Act as a change agent and HR strategist, supporting business transformation, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Coordinate with hiring managers, department leaders and talent acquisition team to understand staffing needs, prospective openings, and position requirements; forecast changes in staffing, plan recruiting strategies in advance, and maintain movement in the talent pipeline to maximize long-term productivity.
- Advise senior leadership on the appropriate resolution of employee performance & relations issues.
- Investigates ethics and other employee complaints to resolution, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Ensure respectful and equitable treatment of employees, aligned with company policies and procedures. Respond timely to employee and people leader HR related questions.
- Proactively diagnose business and people challenges, develop practical strategies and solutions, and coordinate with leadership to ensure effective implementation.
- Support development of organizational designs to enable agility and business responsiveness, and talent development within assigned groups.
- Act as a change agent, supporting business transformation & organizational growth.
- Administer HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) to streamline HR operations and reporting.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum of 15 years' general and progressive HR experience is required.
- Minimum of 10 years progressive Leadership experience within an HR environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related degree or commensurate experience required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working in a large, geographically distributed workforce (1,000+ employees).
- Demonstrated success advising senior leadership and contributing to organizational strategy.
- Must possess strong knowledge of applicable federal, state and local HR and Employment Laws (i.e. FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.)
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality is a must.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, regulations, or documents with a similar degree of complexity.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy: MS Office expertise required.
- Experience with Workday or similar HRIS is highly desirable.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
