The Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for positively impacting organizational effectiveness by assisting with the proper alignment of people, processes, structure, and culture with business strategies. This person will provide counsel, coaching and guidance to business leaders and managers on people-related matters to assist them in being more effective in their role through a deep understanding of the business. This individual will also serve as a resource to employees to assist them with maximizing their employment experience at the Company.

What will your duties and responsibilities be?
The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and thought partner to Leaders, enabling them to effectively execute the business and people strategy of the organization, including providing coaching to Leadership Team on employee relations, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development, as well as organizational forecasting
- Partners with HR colleagues, including Talent Acquisition, Benefits and Operations to provide comprehensive and integrated solutions and recommendations for client groups
- Provides employee relations and performance management guidance and support to assigned client groups
- Leads and supports client groups to ensure an optimal organizational structure and talent profiles are in place to support the business strategy, and serve as a talent advisor to facilitate and champion strong succession pipelines
- Participates in the interview process and provide input and guidance in the talent selection process
- Ensures consistency and alignment with company standards and practices regarding employee relations, employee care, performance management and talent management
- Successfully partner with our benefits manager to service the Workers Compensation plan
- Ensures that day-to-day operations related to employee support, employment transactions, compliance matters, systems and processes are running properly at the highest levels of service and quality
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR Leadership and HR Operations
- Identifies gaps in Compensation, Talent, Recruiting and change management, and partner with leadership to deliver solutions
- Effectively partners with the Talent Acquisition function to ensure talent is aligned with compensation philosophy, reporting structure, growth trajectory and scale
- Executes programs, policies, and procedures to drive an engaged and high performing organizational culture
- Implements and delivers solutions and interventions that address issues of retention, change management, employee engagement, and leadership development, in partnership with subject-matter experts
What skills and experience will you need?

Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:
- 5+ years of related Organizational Development and/or HR Generalist experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Track record of success serving business clients, experience in developing and implementing change initiatives, and serving in both strategic and operational HR roles
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results, with a strong customer-focused orientation
- Demonstrates high ethical and moral behaviors with unquestionable integrity
- Strong coaching and consulting skills with the ability to quickly gain credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders
- Strong facilitation skills, and the ability to garner support and gain consensus in a matrix business environment
- Ability to identify and articulate appropriate concerns and solutions as related to change management, including ability communicate and message changes effectively to build commitment, and support those affected by change
- Highly effective project management abilities with a complete understanding of business process and the ability to integrate multiple resources for integrated recommendations and solutions
- Strong understanding of the human capital aspects of business strategy and objectives with the adaptability to quickly learn, understand, and remain current on the products and drivers to company performance, and how the business retains a competitive advantage
- Highly developed analytical/problem solving skills and the ability interpret and translate strategies and conceptual information into results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers, including effective presentation and facilitation skills, team and leadership development, conflict resolution, and organizational change/influencing skills
- Technical proficiency with MS Office Suite, HRIS, and ATS
- Strong professional judgment and sensitivity to working in a highly confidential work environment
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices, Federal/California employment laws and regulations
- Ability to work regularly and daily at the Carlsbad and/or Irvine facilities, as needed
