The Position
Verve is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Manager, IT G&A Business Partner to partner with our General & Administrative (G&A) teams to drive the successful implementation and ongoing support of critical enterprise systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring our HRIS, ERP, procurement and legal systems align with business needs while optimizing efficiency and compliance. This role will work closely with other IT team members, internal business partners, external collaborators, and vendors to deliver IT solutions that align with corporate goals and drive business success.

This role is pivotal in ensuring our HRIS, ERP, procurement and legal systems align with business needs while optimizing efficiency and compliance. This role will work closely with other IT team members, internal business partners, external collaborators, and vendors to deliver IT solutions that align with corporate goals and drive business success.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted IT advisor for G&A teams, translating business needs into IT solutions and roadmaps.
- Partner with HR to lead the IT side of our implementation, rollout, integration, and optimization of our new HRIS system.
- Manage HRIS release updates, ensuring thorough testing, impact assessment, and successful deployment of new features and functionality.
- Partner with HR to co-develop and deliver training and change management initiatives to drive system adoption and user engagement.
- Work collaboratively with business partners to identify system requirements and align technology solutions with business processes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the IT team.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring service levels meet business expectations.
- Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to enhance ERP capabilities, ensure smooth operations, and support procurement workflows.
- Work closely with relevant teams to ensure all systems comply with regulatory requirements, including maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and safeguarding personally identifiable information (PII).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with minimum of 7 years of experience in a growing life sciences organization.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS, ERP, procurement systems, and legal technology solutions.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and dynamic business needs, maintaining focus and productivity.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and various stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to proactively assess and resolve day-to-day issues.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, with ability to build relationships across multiple departments and functions.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on industry trends, technology innovations and best practices.
