WHAT WE'LL NEED

The Senior Manager, Operations - APAC is responsible for driving successful new markets launch in the APAC region. With a strong focus on building organization structure and operational capabilities through the deployment of training programs and learning management systems. Ensuring compliance with operational and food safety standards (QSC) is a key tenant of the role. Improving customer experience (SMG) through sharing best practices and know how to achieve best in class brand experience.

An individual who has high energy and a vibrant personality, complemented by solid experience in multi-unit level Ops and training capability across multiple markets in the region would excel in this role. The ability to collaborate cross functionally, with a clear focus on driving successfully new market launch is an important attribute.

Building strong relationships with brand partners is critical to leading and influencing on the Ops excellence agenda. Managing KPIs, bringing systems, processes, and tools to life in the restaurants through the Wingstop Way to set brand partners up to scale successfully.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support New Market Entry training planning and implementation through collaboration with the cross functional team in APAC and GSC.
  • Provide counsel and help brand partners in shaping the Ops organization structure from launch and as they scale.
  • Support new market entry project management as the subject matter expert to ensure milestones are delivered on the timeline.
  • Support existing markets by providing training interventions, coaching and support on key operational projects to meet KPIs
  • Periodic restaurant visits in markets within region to cascade training and people development tools with appropriate coaching to drive people capability. These visits also serve to ensure brand protection in all areas.
  • Collaborate with Brand Partner store teams to improve operational audit and customer experience scores through identifying training gaps and closing those gaps with the right training and tools.
  • Recognize challenges and recommend solutions to create efficiencies above and within restaurants especially in areas of people capability.
  • Other duties as assigned such as new equipment training, collating of key metrics during trials, and creation of standard operating procedures for new equipment and processes.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have 5+ years of operational and training management experience in multi-unit restaurants set up across different countries in the APAC region.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross functional teams and influencing results.
  • New Market Launch and New Restaurant Opening experience across markets in the region would be a plus.
  • Good understanding of how to build and shape an Ops structure to set brand partner up for success as they scale.
  • Hands-on experience with operations audit programs and customer programs.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing training programs to target opportunities in business.
  • High energy, with strong relationship skills and enjoys problem solving.

  • Tapping into your high mental energy while working with Restaurant teams in New Market Entry training, driving Ops Excellence and training in new systems and processes.
  • Engaging brand partners around building the Ops structure with the right capabilities from the launch and as they scale.
  • Constantly working on sharpening Wingstop training programs and tools to deliver value add in an engaging manner when building people capability.
  • Routine use of physical energy while traveling throughout the region including some extended stays in New Markets across the APAC Region.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross functional team members.
