We are looking for a Senior Manager, Procurement who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Procurement & Sourcing activities globally across multiple business units. This role will serve as a primary point of contact responsible for developing policies and managing relationships with key Suppliers, as well as, internal business owners. This role also requires the development and execution of Procurement & Sourcing strategies to drive enterprise value. There will be a heavy emphasis placed on the ability to identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities using both financial and analytics' best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Requirements
  • Recommend category strategies based upon product, operational, strategic & financial considerations
  • Create strategic and operational plans to address Supplier spend portfolio prioritizing key areas of focus
  • Drive company-wide synergies highlighting opportunities with common Suppliers, spending or processes
  • Develop innovative approaches that add value to existing procedures and Supplier processes
  • Conduct long-term planning with Suppliers to ensure that Supplier capacity stays ahead of demand
  • Lead negotiations for complex deals

Financial Requirements
  • Negotiate and implement cost-saving programs with Suppliers
    • E.g., volume-based discounts, operational efficiencies, better payment terms, lead-time improvements
  • Track and achieve both hard and soft cost savings' targets monthly
  • Track COE spend across the enterprise driving data-informed decision-making with actionable insights
  • Develop financial models and provide data needed to identify P&L savings, avoidance & overall value

Supplier Management
  • Manage RFI/RFPs and Supplier negotiations across EP's enterprise vendor spend portfolio
  • Manage end-to-end deal support, including: analytics, negotiations, savings & contract deliverables
  • Assess Suppliers based upon strategic direction, financial health, due diligence, market position & capabilities
  • Track and improve supplier performance and cost on regular basis
  • Maintain supplier inventory, including pricing and coordinate with administrative personnel
  • Approve purchase orders and confirming delivery of goods / services
  • Manage key Supplier relationships

Stakeholder Education
  • Develop enterprise-wide policies and procedures that align with overall company Procurement & Sourcing plans
  • Educate all levels of management and functional teams on spend opportunities
  • Build relationships with Sr. Management globally across all business units

Project Management / Storytelling
  • Develop and execute project plans
  • Map business workflows to inform/lead transformation initiatives as it relates to Supplier management
  • Create and deliver executive presentations in alignment with Procurement & Sourcing process milestones
  • Ability to "tell a story" using data and supporting visualizations
  • Facilitate Information Architecture (IA) security review with the enterprise Technology team
  • Work closely with the enterprise Legal team to ensure contracts / terms are favorable


JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
  • 7-10 years of Procurement & Sourcing experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • MBA, CPSM, C.P.M. or PMP preferred
  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP
  • Awareness of best practices regarding Supplier management (e.g., strategic alliances, supplier certification, etc.)
  • Internal or external business consulting experience highly desired
  • History of success in operating under ambiguity and lack of systems/processes
  • Extremely organized and attentive to detail
  • A "whatever it takes" attitude to get things done quickly and decisively
  • Comfort with written and verbal communication of quantitative and qualitative information with executives
  • Ability to influence and drive change while building solid relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, lead and participate in cross functional teams
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-stress and uncertain situations
  • Strong analytical skills; MS Excel proficient; financial modeling preferred
  • Strong written and communication skills; MS PowerPoint, MS Word proficient
  • Excellent documentation and requirements analysis
  • Up to 10% travel (both domestic and International)
