Senior Manager, Real Estate Legal Services

We are seeking a Senior Manager in Commercial Real Estate Legal Services to join our national real estate firm based in Phoenix, AZ. This is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office per week. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our corporate legal team, offering a close working relationship with senior vice presidents and a dedicated team of experienced paralegals. This position is perfect for someone looking to influence high-level projects and advance within a supportive company structure that prioritizes work/life balance.

Salary: $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform due diligence including the investigation of property titles, zoning laws, and identification of potential legal and transactional issues.
  • Work closely with in-house departments such as leasing, property management, construction, and development.
  • Manage, draft, and review purchase and sale agreements as well as leasing agreements.
  • Advise and support senior management on a variety of commercial real estate matters.
  • Provide legal strategy and risk assessment for property transactions and development.
  • Ensure compliance with current laws and regulations related to real estate transactions.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial real estate legal setting.
  • Proven track record of handling purchase and sale agreements.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company or large real estate firm is preferred.
  • Additional certifications or qualifications in real estate law.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Knowledge of environmental, commercial development, and property management law.
  • Experience with cross-departmental collaboration.
