ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Manager of Teacher Recruitment and Staffing will play a vital role within the Recruitment and Staffing Team (RST). Collaborating with team members and reporting to the Senior Director, this individual will lead various talent initiatives. The Senior Manager may also oversee management responsibilities and supervise at least one team specialist, ensuring that Camden City School District's schools and central office are fully staffed with high-quality, mission-driven employees.

Pipeline Development
The Senior Manager will develop hiring pipelines between the District and neighboring universities to increase the the number of candidates who are eligible for hire in hard-to-fill positions (i.e. Bilingual, ESL, SPED, Math and Science)
Teacher Retention
The Senior Manager will adopt a data-driven strategy to retain teachers and increase their engagement and commitment to District employment. Be an active contributor to an inspired and dynamic team culture that is optimistic, results-oriented and driven by a sense of urgency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- At least 4 years of work experience in recruitment, talent strategy, human resources or comparable field
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Demonstrated history of successful project management in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driver's license as well as current insurance and vehicle with valid registration
- Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition
The Senior Manager will be responsible for a critical teacher hiring portfolio, for which s/he will:
- Adopt and implement a comprehensive teacher recruitment plan, with a focus on hard-to-fill teachers (SPED, ESL, Bilingual, etc.) and diverse teachers
- Develop and implement online recruitment strategy for teacher candidates
- Partner with senior District leaders to design and implement recruitment strategies to meet talent needs )
- Develop and lead rigorous and effective selection processes to hire high-performing teachers
- Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of licensing regulations and changes in educational policies.
- Develop and support recruitment initiatives to expand the diversity of candidate pipelines
- Provide a positive hiring experience for candidates
- Support and refine on-boarding processes to ensure new hire engagement and efficient pipeline movement
- Train hiring managers on use of selection tools, application system, and candidate communication
- Ensure onboarding processes are efficient and structured to engage and retain teacher candidates

Talent Partnership
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with executive leaders, principals, and hiring managers to grasp staffing needs and deliver recruitment support aligned with professional development and retention strategies.
- Act as a strategic workforce planning partner in cross functional teams, analyzing staffing trends, forecasting future needs, and creating proactive recruitment plans to meet gaps and changes in staffing requirements for designated client groups.
- Conduct comprehensive job analyses to understand role demands and assist talent partners in crafting precise job descriptions that attract suitable candidates and set realistic expectations.
- Utilize HR technology solutions (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems) to streamline processes, improve data management, and enhance the recruitment experience for candidates and hiring teams. Produce reports on recruitment metrics and outcomes; Provide training for hiring managers on the use of selection tools, application systems, and candidate communication.
- Subject matter expert in HR management and best practices, participate in professional development opportunities, and implement process enhancements to elevate recruitment efficiency and efficacy.
- Ensure alignment of hiring and selection practices with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as school district policies, throughout the recruitment and selection lifecycle.
Preferred Skills:
- At least 3 years working in a high needs school district.
Analytics
- Collaborates with team leaders to proactively analyze data trends, identifying opportunities to improve staff retention, reduce absenteeism, and optimize candidate pipeline movement.
- Supports staffing and HR decisions by utilizing advanced data analysis techniques.
- Leads the development, reporting, and evaluation of recruitment and onboarding data to enhance performance, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
