The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Creative Strategy & YouTube Platform, the Senior Manager of YouTube is responsible for supporting and executing the social commerce and organic strategy across QVC Group's YouTube platforms. This role includes managing relationships with agencies and third-party vendors, building strong partnerships with social platform vendors to enhance our media presence, shepherding our affiliate program, and collaborating with in-house creative and production teams on the execution of both paid and organic content.

This role is hybrid and based in West Chester, PA.

Your Impact

  • Assist in developing and executing the company's YouTube strategy to align with its goals. Implement initiatives that enhance the brand's presence and support organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as commercialization, creative, and finance teams) to ensure social media strategies are integrated across functions. Coordinate with third-party vendors and agencies to align contributions with strategic objectives.
  • Use insights from audience analysis and market trends to adapt strategies that meet brand objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to professional staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth. Ensure team alignment with departmental guidelines and objectives
  • Make informed decisions based on resource availability and organizational objectives. Establish clear guidelines and objectives for the social media department to ensure alignment with broader corporate goals
  • Support in managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) for key social platforms, ensuring strategic planning and execution drive revenue growth. Develop departmental plans prioritizing business and operational goals.


What You Bring

  • Must have 8+ years of experience within the social media space
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to execute social media strategies aligned with business objectives, contributing to action-oriented planning and alignment with broader goals
  • Proficiency in analyzing social media metrics and audience insights to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement of performance
  • Experience in managing small teams, fostering collaboration, and building relationships with vendors, agencies, and internal teams for cohesive social media efforts.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms' functionalities, best practices for content engagement, and the ability to manage and execute projects within strategic timelines.
