The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. As the Senior Manager of Subscriber Acquisition, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team which focuses on growing Bell Medias suite of DTC services, including Crave, TSN, RDS, and Starz. Bell Media has ambitious growth targets for all its DTC services, placing the successful candidate in a high visibility / high value role within the organisation.

This role currently supports one other team member, which makes cross-functional collaboration a core element of success for any candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • General accountability to drive acquisitions for Bell Medias Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) services in all digital sales channels, including Crave, TSN, RDS, and Starz
  • Set offer strategy and execute promotions to deliver against acquisition targets
  • Pricing responsibility, including setting the strategy to maximize revenue and execution of pricing tactics for new and base customers
  • Work with internal and external partners to identify and pursue sustainable opportunities for revenue and subscriber growth
  • Competitive intelligence, including understanding pricing and offer tactics used by others in the DTC space and their anticipated impact on results
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Marketing or related fields or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years experience in roles related to sales, pricing, or other similar areas that are results oriented
  • Strong analytical skills and a track record of developing and implementing strategies informed by numerical insights
  • Comfort communicating strategy and results to both executives and working level teams
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver on day-to-day objectives as well as bigger strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated success balancing critical thinking abilities with operational execution
  • Passion and experience in the Media industry is an asset
