Description:
BASIC PURPOSE: Work with the Global NCL Marketing and Sales teams (including Travel Partners, Field & Internal Sales Managers, National Accounts, Charters and Incentive Sales), as well as external vendors, to set requirements for projects that maximize results and to continuously deliver on expected objectives. Responsible for strategically managing all Norwegian Cruise Line print and digital advertising and collateral, videos, and other marketing assets for North American trade. Manage final deliverables and ensures successful project rollouts that generate exceptional brand awareness, outstanding product information and superior trade engagement to drive and grow sales. Ensure marketing collateral complies with brand guidelines and aligns to key messaging to support business needs. Maintain digital platform of NCL marketing collateral for trade. Also coordinates and shares assets and best practices with International Marketing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelor and/or master's degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE: 7-10 years Marketing experience with increasing responsibility and success track record demonstrating exceptional results. Requires experience in different aspects of marketing, e.g., direct mail, email, print production, creative optimization, management of online platforms & sales tools, and more.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal, written and proofreading skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have strong interpersonal and team centric management skills. Strong relationship skills are important for this role. Must be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and strong motivation to see projects from concept to completion. Flawless execution and overall quality assurance of marketing collateral generated. Follow-up skills are a must. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products. Meticulous proofreading ability and fact-checking, strong work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and strong project management to ensure deadlines are met.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage advertising budget for NA Trade Media & Collateral. Develop trade print advertising schedule and strategy. Ownership of full end to end print trade advertising projects. Partner with domestic media team on negotiation and purchase of annual placement and oversee content and creative for multiple publications (Print and Digital). Coordinate with NA sales to support in market initiatives and product focus in all advertising presence.
- Responsible a team overseeing Trade Marketing collateral for domestic handle trade marketing and sales systems for 6 International Regions. Manage responsibilities amongst team to ensure all marketing deadlines are met for international marketing.
- Develop and implement strategies and solutions to drive travel agent sales and maintain the assets to assist the NCL Global Sales teams in their messaging to support Travel Partners. Assist with identifying opportunities to strengthen support for the business to business (B2B), business to consumer (B2B2C) travel partner audience and Global NCL Sales.
- Work with trade marketing manager to create marketing trade collateral (brochures, flyers, etc.) that drives demand to help grow sales and revenue. Reviews marketing materials to ensure they meet and comply with brand guidelines, promotional terms, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with domestic direct mail channel leads to implement quarterly B2B trade national as directed by North American Sales.
- Oversee Trade Marketing projects from concept to execution and continuously updates for accuracy and relevance. This includes recommending and reviewing requirements for completeness with the marketing teams, working with various internal departments and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, advising marketing leadership of schedule and risks, making business recommendations on solutions to ensure delivery of the best outcome given budget and schedule constraints, and updating the NCL Trade Marketing team on progress.
- Manage the team to ensure trade marketing needs for all International Regions (CE, UK, APAC, MEA, LATAM, Brazil) are met. Ensure successful project rollouts that generate exceptional brand awareness, outstanding consumer demand and superior trade engagement to drive accelerated product sales globally. Responsible for providing business input, communication, and trafficking marketing projects with all International Marketing teams to ensure all work is produced according to brand guidelines and established timelines.
- Work closely with both the domestic Trade Marketing & Trade Engagement teams to provide consistent trade messaging across all regions. Facilitate the communication from domestic, so that regions can leverage & translate if necessary, for their marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with domestic Product Marketing to regionalize the domestic WWCG for all INTL Teams. Oversee in-region brochure development, budget, fulfillment and distribution for all regions.
- Oversee Sales Systems Specialist to execute scoping and implementation of Salesforce direct marketing product, Pardot, for INTL Sales email communications. Train Sales Team to ensure email best practices & usage of Pardot.
- Assist to maintain an effective partnership with outside vendors to ensure proper levels of marketing collateral are up-to-date and delivered to Travel Partners and Sales Managers in a timely manner.
- Liaise with third party fulfilment company to ensure Travel Partners and Sales Managers have access to necessary NCL marketing collateral and promotional items. Audit product min/max allowance by audience and coordinate approvals for order exceptions via fulfillment. Select and produce annual promotional merchandise which is distributed to Travel Partners in US via BDMs.
- Participate in weekly creative alignment and traffic status meetings to review project timelines and ensure production schedules are kept.
