The Senior Manager, Warehousing, is responsible for ensuring NewAge's global warehousing network is operating efficiently. They must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills. A successful Senior Manager, Warehousing will possess and demonstrate strong leadership, analytical ability and effective communication skills.

The Senior Manager, Warehousing, is responsible for ensuring NewAge's global warehousing network is operating efficiently. They must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills. A successful Senior Manager, Warehousing will possess and demonstrate strong leadership, analytical ability and effective communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the research and evaluation and selection of new warehousing partners.
- Lead the Warehousing Team including, Inventory Manager and Warehouse Managers for inhouse fulfillment centers.
- Manage Warehouse Analyst responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our perpetual inventory across our distribution network.
- Responsible for all inventory related audit activities directly with external auditors.
- Responsible for all 3PL partners and supervise via direct reports the warehouse management teams for all NewAge operated DCs.
- Build costing and analysis models to efficiently evaluate warehousing spending.
- Responsible for departmental budget development of approximately 20 million and preparation of financial reporting for executive teams.
- Evaluate existing partner contracts, to ensure appropriate pricing and service levels.
- Optimizing the warehousing network, proposing the opening or rationalization of warehouses partners to minimize total logistics spending.
- Analyze the feasibility and cost savings of initiating company-managed warehouses.
- P&L responsibility for NewAge inhouse fulfillment centers.
- Long range planning of staffing levels and space utilization to account for forecasted growth and changes in the business.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior management in cross functional departments to drive innovation and savings.
- Provide oversight and coaching to staff to improve analysis and skills.
- Develop, implement and review network designs to increase efficiencies and optimization.
- Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers.
- Monitor, report and analyze market/industry trends and collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve positive outcomes.
- Drive increased employee engagement by implementing leadership practices that increase leadership visibility and accountability.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel within Canada and the US will be required for this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in a field of study related to the position is mandatory (supply chain, logistics, transportation).
- 5-10 years' experience in supply chain or logistics management.
- Advanced negotiation skills and exceptional communication skills in order to communicate with customers over the phone and through email.
- Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SQL database; Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
- Experience with SAP Business One or equivalent ERP systems
- Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology.
- Excellent presentation skills including presenting clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and adjusting communication style to the audience by translating and articulating technical concepts to non-technical groups.
- Demonstrates originality and imagination in thinking while developing a solution to a problem.
- Utilizes finance concepts to manage budgets, forecast costs, and account for the financial impact of decisions.
- Adapts to and embraces change with composure, resilience, and perseverance in the face of constraints, high pressure, and adverse situations.
