We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our team.

THE ROLE

As a key member of the Marketing team your primary goal will be to support and drive marketing initiatives for our hospitality portfolio. Reporting to the Brand Director, you will develop and execute digital and traditional marketing initiatives including website management, promotional newsletters, reporting, and analysis of marketing activity as conducted through all third-party sites including OpenTable, TravelClick, Expedia etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing marketing strategies and content:
  • Plan, develop and direct multiple avenues of marketing strategies to drive sales
  • Ensure alliance with social media manager & digital marketing manager of all marketing on all platforms
  • Responsible for marketing within the hotel's 4-walls (guest room collateral, special menus, promotional materials, hotel cross-marketing including elevator signage, check-in collateral, etc
  • Develop and leverage creative community partnerships to drive business to events and food and beverage
  • Facilitate bi-weekly marketing meetings with events and F&B to review past performance and upcoming initiatives
  • Responsible for overseeing and executing hotel marketing needs on property, including but not limited to activations, community engagement, programming, holidays
  • Manage paid media spend including targeting and deployment for all third-party travel and food and beverage sites
  • Facilitate the creation of signage, mock-ups, email campaigns, and online promotion designing and publishing digital and print collateral as needed and monthly newsletter
  • Ownership of websites - updates on events and key SEO in partnership with web agency
  • Research & strategic recommendations on core brand pillars: room rates and promotions, food & beverage, event bookings, brand positioning based on current trends
  • Coordinate and produce budgets, estimates and contracts
  • Own and manage the marketing budget and departmental spending to ensure compliance with finance.

Critical analysis of strategies, statistics, and demand factors:
  • Monitor and report on website, online listing, and hotel performance metrics
  • Monitor and report on performance of organic and paid marketing campaigns
  • Provide metrics and analysis for use in weekly, quarterly and monthly meetings

Oversee digital presence for hotels and outlets(restaurants):
  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date content on listings including Google, OpenTable, owned channels
  • Maintain monthly performance audit to seek and correct misinformation
  • Work alongside digital agency to ensure content and search engine optimization is staying up to date on best practices and trends
  • Ensure visual and written brand integrity of content for each outlet
  • Maintain and manage access to all relevant digital channels
  • Ensure up-to-date website content and management, including homepage alerts and pop-ups, "happenings" pages to promote our marketing activities, trackable links and reservations links and menus + days/hours of operations
  • Maintain and publish updated restaurant menus for online listings including seasonal and event menus
  • Work with the front desk/reservations team to ensure accuracy in reservation data for clean market segment/rate code reporting
  • Work with revenue and sales to ensure all rate packages are bookable and available across hotel channels.

Administrative duties and relationship management:
  • Manage a team and provide constructive feedback and support
  • Pull marketing performance reports to share with Brand Director
  • Generate monthly marketing report to be shared within property, regional, and corporate meetings
  • Pull and distribute channel audit reports for hotel and restaurant listings
  • Manage digital assets (photography, 3D tours and video) for the hotel and outlets.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Manager Role
  • Passion for hospitality industry
  • Strong analytical, results-driven mind
  • Budgeting/forecasting experience
  • Self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to provide status updates to internal stakeholders and set reasonable expectations
  • Knowledge of Canva, Mailchimp, Third party platforms (OpenTable, etc) is a bonus
