Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Marketing Manager.
NYULH is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager, Advertising to support a team focused on connecting audiences with NYULHs inspirational brand and messaging via paid advertising. This important role will be responsible for supporting paid advertising efforts for specific departments and programs as well as the overall institution. This position is a critical component within Communications, Marketing, Government and Community Affairs broader strategy to influence, motivate, and inspire audiences while furthering NYULHs vision and institutional goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Program Management:
Support development of advertising materials based on departmental and program strategic priorities, emphasizing patient-centered care and innovation
Identify current market trends in advertising that can be translated into actionable recommendations and strategic plans that align with growth targets and priorities for patients, leads, stakeholders, and communities
Assist with new advertising campaigns, enhance current campaigns, and evaluate outcomes; make strategic adjustments to optimize outcomes as needed
Infuse data-driven insights into advertising campaigns and assess their effectiveness, including key performance indicators such as brand reputation, conversions (i.e., appointments) for patients & leads, physician referrals, and customer lifetime value
Participate in brainstorming sessions with the Advertising team to cultivate ideas for new advertising campaign concepts, including content and design elements
Collaboration:
Support the Advertising team on development of advertising campaigns requiring promotion via paid channels
Collaborate with Relationship Leads teams to gather insights and messaging points about service lines to inform creative
Partner closely with agency partners on creative development, media planning, and more
Collaborate with the Program Measurement on measurement strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs); help integrate these metrics into decision-making processes
People Management:
Mentor and guide junior team members on how work gets done, set priorities, ensure standards of excellence are understood and adhered to
Champion NYULHs strong continuous improvement culture and ensure deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes
Operational Excellence:
Closely track assignments, progress, and associated metrics for the team
Review and approve various stages of production, including mechanicals
Build strong relationships with counterparts at our advertising agency
Champion NYULHs strong culture of continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications:
7 years of marketing and advertising agency experience
1 year of managing junior team member(s)
Bachelors degree
Proven experience in managing multiple projects at the same time and managing both up to a manager and a larger cross-functional team, and managing down to help teach, inspire, motivate junior members
Proficiency in project management, communication tools, and data analysis
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to learn and apply data-driven insights
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 $128,100.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
