Senior Mechanical Engineer - 2D AutoCAD Specialist

This full-time, permanent Senior Mechanical Engineer role focuses on designing industrial heat transfer systems using 2D AutoCAD. Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Designing industrial heat transfer systems using 2D AutoCAD for approximately 70% of the job role.
  • Occasionally designing in 3D AutoCAD when specifically requested by a customer.
  • Managing and leading a team of engineers, dedicating around 30% of the time to staff management duties.
  • Developing a wide variety of engineering drawings and documentation to support project and manufacturing processes.
  • Engaging continuously with all company products to ensure the most effective and innovative design solutions.
  • Collaborating with production and operations teams to implement designs and resolve manufacturing challenges.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in 2D AutoCAD mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 4 years of experience in leading engineering teams.
  • Must hold an engineering degree from an accredited institution.
  • A strong preference for working exclusively within the 2D AutoCAD environment.
  • Mandatory U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status.
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute to the Richfield, Wisconsin area.
  • Solid career history with demonstrated longevity at previous employers.
