Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for mechanical engineering and design on assigned projects.
- Design HVAC systems, central plant systems, plumbing, sprinkler fire protection, and fire suppression systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and national building codes, including International Building Codes.
- Provide mentorship and training to mechanical staff.
- Delegate and oversee work assigned to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff.
- Act as a resource for technical expertise and project procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
- 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering and design.
- Proficiency in managing engineering projects through all development phases.
- Ability to work on-site full-time with occasional travel.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
