Responsibilities
  • Articulates complex scientific stories to diverse audiences, emphasizing key data in a clear and concise manner;
  • Contributes scientific and medical writing expertise - focusing on quality, best practice, industry guidelines and client perspective;
  • Dissects client briefs, distills the true need, and challenges preconceptions to define together meaningful project objectives;
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor;
  • Strategizes new deliverables and medical communication concepts;
  • Reviews and critically appraises medical content developed by junior writers, providing constructive feedback and mentorship;
  • Leads scientific discussions with clients and HCPs, capturing actionable insights and direction;
  • Active participation at congresses and meetings as necessary (virtual and onsite internationally);
  • Represents the company in client-facing interactions and pitch presentations;
  • Aligns with and works within our core values.


Qualifications
  • An advanced Life Sciences degree; ideally PhD, PharmD, or MD;
  • A minimum of 3 years Medical Communications experience in an agency setting, with experience in Medical Affairs;
  • Experience working across multiple medical specialities - able to quickly demonstrate confidence and credibility in new therapeutic areas;
  • Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical standards, compliance, and regulations;
  • Strategic insight combined with a strong scientific acumen - able to translate data into strategic project outcomes;
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities alongside excellent attention to detail;
  • Comfortable with prioritizing and managing moving timelines and demands;
  • Strong intrinsic motivation;
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - to native-speaker level;
  • Proficiency with Apple Devices and G-Suite Office Tools advantageous.
