CACI is seeking a Senior Mission Application Infrastructure Support Engineerto be responsible for providing advanced technical support for mission-critical applications and infrastructure supporting mission system development for USSTRATCOM capabilities. This role involves ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of applications that support national strategic missions. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
Mission Application Infrastructure Support Engineer, Senior:
- Leads the design and implementation of containerized application architectures, considering scalability, performance, security, and resource utilization
- Defines strategies for containerizing existing applications and building new containerized applications, including container image creation, orchestration, and lifecycle management
- Manages Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, networking, and security configurations.
- Integrates containerization into continuous integration and deployment pipelines to automate application deployments
- Monitors and optimizes container performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
- Enforces security standards for container images, registries, and cluster configurations
- Coaches and guides other developers on containerization technologies, best practices, and troubleshooting
- Possesses deep understanding of containerization technologies with extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools
- Possesses cloud platform knowledge and familiarity with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP and their container offerings
- Uses tools like Terraform to manage infrastructure through code
- Possesses knowledge of programming languages and software application development methodologies
- Demonstrates ability to diagnose and resolve complex containerization issues
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Minimum of 7 years in infrastructure support or application engineering, with a focus on mission-critical systems
- Required 8140 Cert: 451 - Intermediate; Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
AND
- Additional Cert: One or more of the following:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers
- Docker Certified Associate
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
- Certified Kubernetes administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
- Microsoft Azure Certified DevOps Engineer Expert
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) and virtualization.
- Strong understanding of networking, security protocols, and system architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
