Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network access control solutions using Cisco ISE, ensuring security, compliance, and efficiency across the enterprise network. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a deep understanding of networking principles, and experience with enterprise security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implement Cisco ISE Solutions: Configure and deploy Cisco ISE for network access control, authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA).
Policy Creation and Enforcement: Develop and enforce 802.1X authentication policies, posture assessments, guest access, and device profiling.
Integration with Network Infrastructure: Work with switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers to integrate Cisco ISE with existing network security infrastructure.
Solve and Optimization: Identify and resolve network access issues, ensuring smooth connectivity and compliance with security policies.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain Cisco ISE, solve RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
Security Compliance: Work with security teams to align Cisco ISE policies with NIST, CIS, and other security frameworks.
Documentation and Training: Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and train junior engineers on Cisco ISE standard processes.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience working with Cisco ISE in enterprise environments.
7+ years of experience in network engineering with expertise in Cisco networking technologies.
Good understanding of 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and network access control.
Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, Nexus switches, ASA, Firepower, and Wireless LAN Controllers.
Knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, network segmentation, and security standard processes.
Ability to solve authentication and authorization issues in complex network environments.
Familiarity with cloud security integrations (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
Cisco CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Cisco DNA Center for policy-based automation and security.
Knowledge of zero-trust networking, micro-segmentation, and NAC strategies.
Understanding of scripting/automation (Python, Ansible) for network automation.
Experience with other security tools such as Splunk, or Palo Alto,
